I'm in California!!!

Here's some pics from yesterday in Los Angeles and Santa Monica. I'll elaborate more once I get back home.

A Good Day

Actually, it's been a good weekend all over. I've finished 2 knitting projects and today I picked up my county fair submissions.

On Friday night I finished a chunky capelet (next summer I'll know better than to knit a chunky wool anything in July of all months).



Second, I finally finished my "June" socks on Saturday evening. These will be so cozy in my boots come winter.



Finally, I won 11 ribbons this year at the county fair for my knits and yarns.



I think I'm proudest of the socks, which are of my own design. My design won first place in socks, hand knit with purchased yarn (class 6).

Now for relaxing.
